Dear Ed, Michael and Dan... My sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dear mother Joanna. As you know, I date way back with the Burke family, first working part time for your grandparents, uncle Bob (grandmother always had goodies and coffee upstairs for "her boys" in the morning) and later when I worked at Waterman's in Wellesley, always maintained a cordial and friendly with the Burke family. Vin, Rick, Dan, Michael and Ed my heart ❤️ goes out to you and your collective families. Your sister and mom was such a kind and caring soul. From the first days I met her at Handyman in Marlboro helping her with bookkeeping to the last time I saw her at the “Marathon” party this past April she was so consistent and lovable. Her bright smile will be missed. If ever there was someone that belonged in heaven it is Joanna and I’m sure she will find her husband and parents for really fun time. The loss is forever but the pain will pass but her smile and kindness will always be in your heart.

Dear children of Joanna and Dick, My sincere sympathies to you all for the loss of your mother. I went to elementary school with her (Kingsbury) and then Junior High School. She was really a nice person. And I remember Dick so fondly. I hadn't seen your mother in years, but those early years were special for all of us. It was a small community back then. John and I were so saddened to hear that Joanna had passed away. Though we only knew her from our visits to Dunn Gaherin, she was always smiling and friendly and we enjoyed talking with her so many times. She was a fine lady.
