Bob was the one who knew how to get my crystal set working. His help was one of the sparks that led to a career in elecrtonics and a lifetime of enjoyment in our ham radio hobby.  Bob was first licensed as WN1WEN and I as WN1WEF. I am still W1WEF and active at 85.   RIP old pal.
